Vase Life of Gypsophila
Now on, Domestic gypsophila are mainly produced and distributed for business demands, and special attention is not paid for vase life at consumers’ level. Especially, at the growing areas, basic processing technique after cutting gypsophila came from overseas, and not introduced to the growers. It is necessary to improve vase life at the consumers’ level by employing international standard techniques. Also, actual stage, applied techniques are to be considered especially to meet the areal, variety, or management characters.
JELFA ( Japan ELF System Association ) , by proving vase life scientifically, is aiming the goal to connect the distribution from production to consumption. In order to achieve the goal, JELFA will prove the validity the studies on the overseas gypsophila growing areas, introduce the basic and applied technique, ensure the common understandings, and raise suggestions to improve distribution quality.
